The Lavant

Description
Three drawer chest finished in a high build acrylic paint lacquer.

During excavations in 1993, the Lavant Drum, a Neolithic cylinder, was discovered.

It is one of only four objects of its kind.

It has been suggested that it was a tool used to measure cord to standard length in the construction of Stonehenge.
Materials used
Made with certified sustainable kiln dried hardwood.

Finished in high gloss acrylic lacquer.

Polished nickel handles.

All drawers fitted with cushion close concealed runners.
Craft notes
All drawer fronts are pressed by hand using a modern press to create consistent undulating curves.

Designed to be used as a large bedside chest.
